VOTING RIGHTS
Motion Design
Illustrator ● After Effects ● Premiere Pro
Created to educate viewers on key historical figures in the fight for voting rights, this motion graphic was built around a strict creative constraint: no characters, and to be "abstract".
Starting from a provided script, I broke the narrative into sections, built a storyboard, and produced an animatic with a scratch voiceover to test pacing early. I moved into After Effects to develop simulated camera movement and depth, then designed the final visuals using vector illustration within a color palette set by the client.
Quick, purposeful transitions drive urgency and momentum throughout, reinforcing the weight of the subject matter through deliberate pacing and design.
